Ernest E. Wollan was a research associate at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Lab (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Waldrop arrived at Oak Ridge in early 1944, directly after receiving his Army basic training. At Oak Ridge, he worked at the Y-12 plant during the Manhattan Project.
Murray Bevis worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Before he came to Hanford Sam Campbell had a varied work history, including service with the coast artillery in the Philippines and pipeline construction in South America.
