Duane Sewell began working with the Manhattan Project in 1941. He was one of the first people to arrive at Oak Ridge and experienced first-hand some of the difficulties there with cyclotrons and isotope separation.
Myrtle E. Karcher was a laboratory technician in the Health Division of the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Audette worked in the United States Engineering District Office.
G. B. McConnell worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
