G. W. Kearsely worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Colonel Franklin Matthias (1908 – 1993) was the officer-in-charge at the Hanford site. Matthias, a civil engineer, had been a close associate of General Groves since the beginning of the Manhattan Project, and was asked to review sites in the West.
Tom Forkner was a US Army lieutenant and logistics officer who worked at Oak Ridge, TN and New York, NY during the Manhattan Project.
Peter Newport Bragg, Jr. served as a civilian engineer working for the U.S. Navy beginning in 1944. A brilliant chemical engineer, he volunteered for a dangerous assignment while employed by the U.
Attended the University of Michigan.
