Louis Bernard Werner was an American chemist. Werner received a B.S. from the University of Idaho, and was working on his doctorate at the Univeristy of Chicago at Berkeley when he was recruited to work on the Manhattan Project at the Chicago Met Lab.
Richard Emanatian was with the military police detachment at Los Alamos during the war. He maintained secrecy through the rest of his life, and his family only found about his involvement long after his death.
Sherman Winters was a janitor at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Lab (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
William Sturm was a research assistant at the Metallurgical Laboratory in Chicago during the Manhattan Project.
