Hull worked at the K-25 plant at Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project. He was also a member of the K-25 basketball team.
Edward Bankowski was a part of the 509th Composite Group stationed on Tinian Island in the Pacific. Specifically, Bankowski was an Aircraft Maintenance Chief with the 603rd Air Engineering Squadron from May to November 1945.
Leon Cooper served as a 2nd lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the bombardier regularly assigned to the B-29 Next Objective.
George W. Wescott served in the 509th Headquarters.
