National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

George Tom Fike was a corporal in charge of recreation at Los Alamos. As part of the Army Recreation Department, he also operated the radio station at Los Alamos with Bob Porton. After the war, he was the assistant city attorney in Phoenix in 1954. He died in 1991.

Warren Nyer (1921-2016) was an American physicist. Nyer was nineteen and studying physics at the University of Chicago when he was hired as a research assistant with the Office of Scientific Research and Development, an early part of the bomb-building program.
