Guy Covington served in the 1st Ordnance Squadron.
Elmer began working with the Manhattan Project in 1941. He was one of the first people to arrive at Oak Ridge and experienced first-hand some of the difficulties there with cyclotrons and isotope separation.
Guy C. Bradley served in the 603rd Air Engineering Squadron.
Thomas H. Olmstead worked as a part of Project Alberta, the team that transported and assembled the two atomic bombs preceeding the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
