Howard Galusha worked on aircraft maintenance for the 509th Composite Group, 393rd Bombardment Squadron in Wendover, Utah and on Tinian Island in the South Pacific.
Paul Vinther arrived in Hanford in 1950 where he worked as a physicist and reactor operator. Vinther worked alongside DuPont and observed first hand DuPont's safety philosophy as well as many of the safety measures put in place to protect workers at the plant.
