Ben Benjamin was a sergeant in the Special Engineer Detachment during the Manhattan Project. He had previously worked in industry making lenses and prisms, and was assigned to the Optics Group to help with photographing the Trinity Test.
Ayres worked in the United States Engineer District Office.
Kermit H. Romine served in the 1027th Air Material Squadron.
Jane Sievers worked on the Manhattan Project at Hanford. She met her husband, chemist Truman P. Kohman, while living in Richland.
