Robert J. Stock served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was regularly assigned as a tail gunner to the Bockscar, but did not fly on that plane during the Nagasaki bombing mission in August of 1945.
Mildred Thompson was a stenographer at the Metallurgical Laboratory in Chicago during the Manhattan Project.
Marvin Davis was a part of the Military Police at Los Alamos. He was a mounted MP at the Trinity site before, during and after the famous test.
