Robert J. Dowling served as a staff sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Laggin’ Dragon.
Westover worked at the 200 East Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
W. G. Chmielewski was a carpenter at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
J. W. Strohecker worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
