Stanley G. Steinke was a second lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron of the 509th Composite Group.
James C. “Jim” Keck (1924-2010) was an American physicist. Keck was considered such an outstanding student of physics at Cornell that he was drafted into the Army Special Engineering Detachment (SED), after his sophomore year.
Garner worked for Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation.
William E. Wright served as a captain in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the regularly assigned navigator for the Big Stink, and he and his crew were later reassigned to Luke the Spook.
