Earl Thomas was an American physicist. After receiving his Ph.D. from CalTech in 1943, he moved to New Mexico to work with the Navy on rocket design and production for the Manhattan Project.
Julie Langham Grilly was a laboratory technician at the Los Alamos Laboratory in New Mexico. She was married to Dr.
Miriam Young-Krollman was a member of the Women's Army Corps and worked at Los Alamos from April 1945 to August 1946 measuring samples of radioactive materials.
