CJ Mitchell grew up in northeastern Texas during the Great Depression. At only sixteen years old, in 1947 he graduated from high school and took a job working on the trailer park in North Richland, Washington.
Frederick Ashworth (1912 – 2005) was a Vice Admiral in the US Navy. Ashworth’s work on the Manhattan Project began in 1944.
Albert Bartlett was born in Shanghai. He went on to attend Colgate University. After graduation, Bartlett was selected for the Manhattan Project because of his background in physics.
C. Y. Driggers worked at the 100-F Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
