Dee McCullough began working as an instrument technician at Hanford in early 1944. As a former sound engineer, McCullough was tasked with installing nuclear safety monitors on the reactors at Hanford.
Carolyn Stelzman worked at the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge as an operator and leak-detector. She also lived and raised her children in Oak Ridge.
Technical Sergeant George “Bob” Caron served as the Tail Gunner on the Enola Gay during the Hiroshima mission.
