National Museum of Nuclear Science & History
Nancy Farley Wood (1903-2003) was an American physicist, teacher, businesswoman, and activist. Born on a farm in Missouri on July 12, 1903, Wood graduated from Warrensburg Teachers College and taught mathematics and physics.
H.A. Fettinger was a junior physicist at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Attended the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Bucknum worked at the 200 East and 200 West Areas at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
