Henry Fritz was a chemist in the Special Engineering Detachment assigned to the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennesee. After the war, Fritz used the GI Bill to finish his chemistry studies, receiving a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota.
