Kay Manley, Canadian-born, came to the United States in 1933 to study. She and her husband John Manley were at the Manhattan District in Chicago, when her husband was personally called by Leo Szilard and asked to move from the Met Lab to Los Alamos.
Theodore J. Neubert was a research associate in the graphite research section at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Bernice Vickio was a nurse at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Santa Fe and at Los Alamos Hospital from September 1944 to April 1946.
William H. Hylton served in the 1st Ordnance Squadron.
