Jacob H. Wiens was a nuclear physicist who worked on the Manhattan Project from 1943 to 1945. He later worked at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory where he interacted with Luis Alvarez.
Walter J. Muente served as a Private with Special Ordnance at Wendover, Utah. He was then transferred to Sandia Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico and served as Sergeant -Tech Supply.
Herbert L. Martin was a member of the 1st Ordnance Squadron in the 509th Composite Group in Wendover, Utah and Tinian Island in the Pacific.
