Morris S. Kaplan was a Chemical Engineer for the Houdaille-Hershey Company in Decatur, Illinois. Kaplan was born in Massachusetts in 1921 and grew up in Chicago, Illinois.
Thomas R. Williams was a laborer at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Lab (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
William W. Atterson lived in Oak Ridge Tennessee and worked at the Y-12 plant where he was in charge of keeping the machine’s working and making sure the work place was running smoothly.
