Roland Davis was a laboratory assistant at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab) during the Manhattan Project.
James R. Corliss served as a technical sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was regularly assigned to work as a flight engineer on the Up An’ Atom but did not fly in that plane during the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
James J. Barbera served in the 320th Troop Carrier Squadron.
