Edward F. Wortmann (1916-1998) was a purchasing agent at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. Wortmann joined the lab in 1944.
Alfred “Al” Wiora served in the army at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. He studied at the University of Pennsylvania and later worked at the Hughes Aircraft Company in Tuscon, Arizona.
