Doris Allen (1915-2013) was a nurse in the hospital at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. Born in Decatur, Illinois, Allen graduated from the Washington University School of Nursing in 1943.

Milton Parkhurst was born on April 28, 1908 in Fairland, Indiana. In 1932, he married Geneva Fay Williams.
