Thomas F. Costa served as a 1st lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the bombardier regularly assigned to the B-29 Some Punkins.
Lillian Sexton was a switchboard operator at the Metallurgical Laboratory in Chicago during the Manhattan Project.
