William E. Caldes studied chemical engineering at Princeton University. In 1943, he was recruited to join the Manhattan Project, and became the 19th project member at Los Alamos.
Wilbur S. Henze served in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron.
Alan Upson Seybolt was a metallurgist who worked at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. Seybolt married Dorothea “Dot” Hoover Seybolt, and the couple had two sons.
After graduating from Williams College, Paul Wilkinson joined the Manhattan Project. He arrived in Oak Ridge in 1943, where he was sent to the Y-12 plant.
