V. Alexander Nedzel was a research assistant at the University of Chicago Met Lab. After the Manhattan Project, he worked at the Institute for Nuclear Studies and was head of the Aerospace Division at MIT Lincoln Laboratory.
Nathaniel T. Burgwyn served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the radar operator of the B-29 Full House, which served as a weather reconnaissance plane on the Hiroshima bombing mission, and the backup strike plane on Iwo Jima on the Nagasaki mission.
Dorothea Lisle was a stenographer at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Gibson worked at the 300 Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
