Joseph “Joe” A. Haaga (1919-1974) was a nuclear engineer who worked on the Manhattan Project. Born in 1919, Haaga graduated from Notre Dame in June 1940 with a B.
Gifford worked at the 200 West Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
Roy W. Carlson was an engineer. He worked on the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos and the University of California, Berkeley, as a member of the Explosives Division and Group X-2A.
