Robert E. Smithson served as a master sergeant in the the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Strange Cargo.
R. A Winkel worked for the Union Carbide & Carbon Corporation. At Oak Ridge he assisted in the development of the K-25 plant.
E. N. Harrison worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
