James R. Corliss served as a technical sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was regularly assigned to work as a flight engineer on the Up An’ Atom but did not fly in that plane during the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
A native of Northern Idaho, Larry Denton was recruited by his father to work on the B Reactor in Hanford, Washington.
J. F. Ryan worked for Clinton Laboratories at the X-10 Reactor.
