Frederick J. Shon (1926-2000) worked on the Manhattan Project at Columbia University. Born in New York City in 1926, Shon was recruited to work on the Manhattan Project while pursuing his undergraduate degree at Columbia.
Nix worked at the 200 West Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
John Howe worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Eleanor Granert was a stenographer at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
