Stanislaw Ulam (1909-1984) was a Polish-American mathematician. Ulam was born in 1909 in Lvov, Austria-Hungary (present-day Ukraine).
In 1942 Gordon joined the Radiation Laboratory at the Berkeley campus. He worked at the Davis campus as well.
Floyd E. Ross served in the radar section of the 393rd Bombardment Squadron.
