Margaret H. Sanderson was a laboratory technician in the Health Division at the Metallurgical Laboratory in Chicago during the Manhattan Project.
Born in Kennewick in 1920, Annette Heriford grew up in Hanford, where her family farmed alfalfa and apples.
William E. Caldes studied chemical engineering at Princeton University. In 1943, he was recruited to join the Manhattan Project, and became the 19th project member at Los Alamos.
F. J. Ward worked for the J.A. Jones Construction Company.
