Elizabeth Howlett was a stenographer at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Arnold E. Sleipnes served as a techical sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Top Secret.
After graduating from Williams College, Paul Wilkinson joined the Manhattan Project. He arrived in Oak Ridge in 1943, where he was sent to the Y-12 plant.
