Raycliffe C. Davis was a graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa. He joined the Army while living in Cedar Rapids, IA, and was assigned with Special Engineering Detachment in Oak Ridge, TN in April 1944.
William H. Rice served in the First Ordnance Squadron.
John Crawford was a physicist and research assistant at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Kelly worked in the 100 F Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
