Judith Lynn Parkhurst was born on March 18, 1934, in Shelbyville, Indiana. Judith had two brothers, James born in 1941, and David born at Oak Ridge in 1947.
Eleanor Blanchard served as a sergeant in the Women’s Auxiliary Corps during World War II. She worked as a typist at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project and also operated the switchboard for the Tech Area.
