Ralph C. Berger served in the 603rd Air Engineering Squadron.
James R. Corliss served as a technical sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was regularly assigned to work as a flight engineer on the Up An’ Atom but did not fly in that plane during the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Robert Traver was a staff worker at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
