National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

John Fox is a mechanical engineer who worked for the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Battelle Memorial Institute.

He was hired by PNNL in 1951 after completing his Master’s at Oregon State University. Fox worked for PNNL after management was taken over by Battelle in 1965. 

In 1992, Fox retired from Battelle and went into public service. He later served as mayor of Richland, WA and president of the B Reactor Museum Association.
