National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

Joseph Mcguire was a chemist with the Special Engineering Detachment at the Y-12 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. After the war, McGuire became a civilian scientist for Argonne National Laboratory, Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, McDonnell Douglas Laboratories, and Westinghouse Laboratories in Richland, Washington.
