George Kehl was a metallurgist and professor at Columbia University’s School of Mines. He worked at Los Alamos on the Manhattan Project.
Louis B. Allen served as a Second Lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the bombardier regularly assigned to the B-29 Strange Cargo.
