Herbert York (1921-2009) was a part-Mohawk American physicist. After graduating with a master’s in physics from the University of Rochester in 1942, York went directly to work at the Berkeley Radiation Laboratory connected with the Manhattan Project.
Milton Levenson (1923-2018) was an American chemical and nuclear engineer. Levenson was born in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1923 to Harry and Fanny Levenson.
Clarence Francis Hiskey (1912-1998) was an American chemist and Soviet spy. He worked at Columbia University and the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory during the Manhattan Project.
