James Porterie was a security guard at Los Alamos tasked with guarding bomb components. Porterie went to Aberdeen Proving Ground for Ordnance School before volunteering for an assignment at Los Alamos.
John H. Hubeny, Jr. served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Strange Cargo.
E. C. Webb worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
C. H. Williams worked for the Roane-Anderson Company.
