Martin Skinner was born and raised in Michigan, just outside of Detroit. He was trained in Chemical Engineering at Michigan State University before joining the army.
Daniel N. Koshland was a research assistant at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
John Riddle was a research assistant at the Metallurgical Laboratory in Chicago during the Manhattan Project.
