William Crum was born on September 4, 1925, in Hancock County, IL. He was the seventh of eight siblings who grew up on a farm in Western Illinois near the Mississippi River.
K. C. Newnam worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
I. A. Rathburn worked for the Edenfield Electric Company.
Evelyn Ellingson arrived in Oak Ridge in early 1943 when many of the site’s facilities were still being constructed.
