J. W. Hitch worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Carrie Johnson was a laboratory assistant in the Chemistry Division of the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
