Fred Vogel was an American chemical engineer who worked at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. Vogel studied at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and later worked as Chief Engineer for the Cornell Machine Company and for the Centaur Machine Company.
Frank Foote was the Principal Metallurgist at the Manhattan Project’s Metallurgical Laboratory at the University of Chicago.
Attended Wayne University.
John H. Gillette (1916-2014) was an American chemist. A lifelong native of upstate New York, Gillette arrived in Oak Ridge in 1943 after several years of working for DuPont.
