During WWII, Dr. Arthur Sucsy worked as a chemist on the Y-12 Plant at Oak Ridge, TN. Dr. Sucsy worked with a team of scientists responsible for examining the physical and chemical properties of uranium.
J. F. Carpenter worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
