Wayne Alexander Bowers was born on March 1, 1919 in Bilbao, Spain. His father traveled as a minister, so Bowers grew up in small towns throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
H. W. Livingston worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Robert Scott was an American chemist. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Miami-Ohio.
