Horace Mahorney was a chemical engineer at the Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. From September 1943 to November 1945, Mahorney was an operator of the mass spectrometer with Dr.
Maurice J. Clark served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the assistant engineer regularly assigned to the Laggin’ Dragon.
Floy Agnes “Aggie” (Naranjo Stroud) Lee was a biologist who worked on the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos as a technician.
