Nathaniel T. Burgwyn served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the radar operator of the B-29 Full House, which served as a weather reconnaissance plane on the Hiroshima bombing mission, and the backup strike plane on Iwo Jima on the Nagasaki mission.
Norman Black served in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron.
John Kenyon Kinnear, Sr. was raised in Brooklyn, NY. He joined the Army and because he was a tool and die maker, he was assigned to the Manhattan Project.
