Albert Bartlett was born in Shanghai. He went on to attend Colgate University. After graduation, Bartlett was selected for the Manhattan Project because of his background in physics.
Ernest J. Blyler served in the 509th Headquarters and Base Services Squadron.
Waldrop arrived at Oak Ridge in early 1944, directly after receiving his Army basic training. At Oak Ridge, he worked at the Y-12 plant during the Manhattan Project.
