Theodore Joseph Blechar was born on May 4, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York. His parents, Eugene and Stella Blechar, were Polish immigrants.
Sarah Bailey was very young when she went to work at the K-25 plant in Oak Ridge. She was employed by Carbide & Carbon Chemicals Corporation, a contractor in the gaseous diffusion operation, in 1945.
Grills worked at the 100-B Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
