John D. Kuharek served as a master sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was assigned to the Great Artiste as a flight engineer and flew in the mission to Hiroshima.
Major John J. Moran was assigned to the Manhattan Engineer District in Oak Ridge, TN from June 6, 1942 to January 12, 1946.
